Our Mission
Project Kune consists in a trip around the world exploring initiatives and examples that demonstrate that the transition to a more sustainable living is possible.
The objective is to give visibility and create collective awareness of the sustainable models and ideas that already exist around the planet, building knowledge and hope in people’s minds.
What is Project Kune?
Project Kune consists in a trip around the world exploring initiatives and examples that demonstratte that the transition to a more sustainable living is possible. We will create content that blends videos on our journey around the world in a fun and engaging manner with videos of and reflections on companies, start-ups and institutions we will meet which are leading the transformation towards the development of the three fundamental pillars of sustainability: social, environmental and economic.
All of this with the objective of giving visibility and create collective awareness of the sustainable models and ideas that already exist around the planet, building knowledge and hope in people’s minds. The project doesn’t only consist of talking and showing the sustainable actions that we will encounter during the trip, but also demonstrating it through our adventure.
Environmental sustainability is presented by conducting the trip in an eco-friendly way. We will travel using environmental friend means of transport, avoiding at all costs planes, moving inland by bus, trains or hitchhiking and crossing the ocean and seas by boat, preferably by sailboats. Moreover, we will eat local and mainly vegetarian, we will consume conscious products and we will enhance the beauty of nature and the places we visit.
Social sustainability is followed by meeting the other, through hitch hiking, couch surfing and engaging with the local population. Not only, but we will also visit schools where we can start an education program ti share and teach our learning to the younger ones and inform them about how they could help for a better future.
Economic sustainability is manifested by showing and attentive attitude towards money and the way we spend it. We set ourselves a low budget, wanting to show that it is possible to travel sustainably and with a restricted financial plan.
Why Project Kune?
We believe that, in addition to spreading the word on this exciting topic, making visible what is happening on all continents, can be a source of inspiration for many and thus encourage future changes.

Observation: Sustainability as a whole is a field in permanent exploration.
Mission: To meet with involved and diverse people to enrich ourselves with their knowledge and their way of understanding sustainability, and, in turn, exchange with them the experiences that we will live along the journey.
SHARE
Observation: It is more and more common to hear about the consequences of the climate crisis, social instability and economic recession, but not a lot is shared on which solutions already exist in today’s world.
Mission: Throughout our journey, we want to give visibility to initiatives, projects and ideas that favour changes towards sustainable development. We will do this through social networks with the intention of encouraging collaboration on good practices.
